Role Description:
To manage revenue collection and query management functions for one of the China ‘s Business Segments
To utilise Commercial systems, procedures and people resources to delivery an effective revenue
management processTo implement strategy and tactical programmes at a number of Area customers who are key and strategic to RBU profitability and Cash Flow
To implement HPO credit-to-cash best-practice business processes
Primary Responsibility:
To implement strategy and monitor systems for revenue collection and complex query management (OTC) functions in order to deliver class leading debtor performance through consistent year on year DSO reduction and fully maximised business cash flow. This will be achieved through innovation, exploitation of IS technology and best practise credit management skills and techniques.
Through an understanding of the needs of the Business and the ability to network with key managers optimise Commercial systems, procedures and people resources in order to deliver
a. the most cost-effective service
b. tailored innovative solutions to improve service to customers and ,thereby, securing and
retaining business.
c. a source of talent for the Business
d. the transition of the CSC from cost centre to profit generation centre.To act as a key Commercial focus for knowledge & decision making in respect of contracts relating to credit management systems and processes and to implement BCP and BOP in credit and query management within the RBU.
Implement HPO credit-to-cash best-practice business processes
Ensure effective controls are in place to meet Corporate Governance requirements and all statutory requirements are maintained as per the directives set out by the appropriate statutory bodies.
Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Targets primarily DSO and Query Resolution.
Promote and maintain a commitment to a safe working environment.
Promote effective people management; provide leadership, motivation and development opportunities to achieve the CSC’s objectives
Through the use of active management, drive team performance and develop individual team members.
Manage costs within budget. (Departmental Cost Centre and other assigned Costs)

Understanding of the marketing; operations, sales and revenue collection functions within Linde including customers and competitors

Knowledge of appropriate VAT and tax legislation
SAP Knowledge
Required Qualification:
Degree in business or any associated discipline
Experience gained in a large, complex organisation
At least 5+ years commercial experience, gained in a business to business environment
Experience of leading and developing teams
Experience of change
