Title: Wholesales Specialist
Report to: Wholesale Manager

Role Description:
The role is responsible for profitable development through channel sales & management for Changzhou and Nanjing power zone. Role requires extensive communications with local wholesalers/dealers/filling stations and other Business functions (Product Manager, Regional Sales team, S&OP functions team, CSC and Operations) and other Channel Sales Managers.
Primary Responsibility:
Market monitoring & understanding
Monitors competitors and distributors’ merchant product activity & reports on supply positions & strategies
Tracks product supply vs. demand of regional market on a timely basis
Evaluates & communicates merchant product supply trends
Overall product market is understood & documented, including market size, growth potential, competitive environment, product sourcing status, & average selling prices
Channel Sales & Planning
Identifies growth objectives for target opportunities and creates plan to capture
Coordinates the regional Supply and Sourcing of merchant product.
Supports development & implementation of product supply mode
Work with distribution manager closely on distribution planning to optimum liquid stock management according to wholesale plan
Work out Channel Management plan align with the regional product & retail sales strategy
Is accountable for retail and wholesale demand forecasting of product as part of the commercialisation and S&OP processes.
Channel Development & Management
Review and design the criteria for wholesalers & dealer selection
Identify and build up the short-term & long-term relationships with qualified wholesalers & dealers
Manages a portfolio of wholesalers & dealers within a defined territory
Reviews account performance and manages contract renewals in a timely manner
Develops account plan and manages implementation, resolves service issues
Supports retail sales activities
Manages the channel in keeping with contract BCP as set by Product Management. Contributes to the improvement of Contract BCP in the wholesale channel as required.
Managing profitability
Work with product manager closely on pricing plan to maximize product profitability for assigned territory in alignment with allocation goals
Owns profit performance of channel sales & identifies profit improvement opportunities in the territory

Required Qualification:
Typically 5+ years experience in Sales and/or Business Planning
5+ years with industrial gases or relevant industry (chemical) commercial experience
Qualified degree preferably in technical and business areas. Combined areas a plus.
Strong communications skills – can make presentations to all levels of the organization
