Role Description:
Execution interface between FI module and other modules of SAP, calculation of period end accrual and provision, closing of financial book at period end, LiFT and statutory reports submission and reconciling of account balance.
Process monthly and annual tax return to ensure tax compliance for business transaction treatment.
Primary Responsibility:
1. Operational Management:
Perform BS review and account reconciliation to ensure accounting & reporting quality per group & auditor requirement.
Enter journal entries including accruals and recurring entries relating to day to day business activities and period end closea
Execute period end accounting entries: calculate period end journals, execute routine cycles such as revaluations, settlements, allocation etc.
Execute interfaces of FI module with other modules of SAP.
Close general ledger, sub ledger and consolidate period end results.
Submit LiFT requirements (Financials, bridge and capex).
Upload of EFL tool to SAP (ECCS and LiFT).
Execute post close activities: control posting period for next period.
Prepare new financial year.
Ensure all transactions complies with Linde group financial policies and procedures and meets legal, statutory audit and internal controls requirements.
Maintain all General accounting reports and spreadsheets.
Prepare statutory reports and accounting data as request.
Process internal or external audit..
Monthly and annual tax return.
Maintain files system as required.
Comply other instructions as directed.
2. Performance & Service Management
Execute work in accordance with the service management framework by providing timely and accurate customer service.
Implementation of best practices in accounting process, tax incentive etc.
Support SSC process improvement projects (including HPO roll-out).

Required Qualification:
4 to 5 years experience in accounting function with at least 2 years experience as an accountant.
Accounting degree and recognised general accounting qualification.
Sound SAP knowledge and scanning technology.
Must have advanced Excel skills and Proficient in basic math skills.
Knowledge and understanding of general Ledger accounting, Fixed Assets accounting and accounting functions.
