宜宾乃长江上游开发最早、历史最悠久的城市之一，有“万里长江第一城、中国酒都、中国竹都”之称和“西南半壁古戎州”的美誉。
After I came up with the idea of building with bamboo, I searched all over Yibin, but couldn't find any space that used bamboo as the main material. Then I looked at domestic bamboo buildings, interior spaces, and bamboo processing and production companies....
设计师初到宜宾，便看到漫山竹海、极目青翠，就只惦记着在这“古戎州”里，造一个“竹”的世界。可隐于竹海里，融竹之十德、煮一壶清茶，追“耳濡清风徐来意，目及竹浪起伏时”之意。
When I first arrived in Yibin, I saw the bamboo sea all over the mountains and the greenery as far as the eye could see. I only wanted to create a "bamboo" world in this "ancient Rongzhou". I could hide in the bamboo sea, integrate the ten virtues of bamboo, boil a pot of clear tea, and pursue the meaning of "listening to the gentle breeze and seeing the bamboo waves rising and falling".
有了以“竹”建筑的想法后，设计师寻遍宜宾，没能寻得以竹材作为材料应用主体的空间。再放眼国内也极少能看到“竹”被大面积运用到建筑、室内空间。
After coming up with the idea of building with bamboo, the designer searched Yibin but could not find any space that used bamboo as the main material. Looking around China, it is rare to see bamboo used in large areas of buildings and interior spaces.
拾捨·竹里馆的“源”就是竹。取之自然，融于自然是设计师的理念传达。
The "source" of Shishe·Zhuli Pavilion is bamboo. Taking from nature and blending into nature is the designer's concept.
创意是需要实实在在地落地，需要转变设计者与被使用对象的身份。
去思考应该怎么样去表达和建造这个世界？这样的世界能够给客人带来什么样的体验？这个世界是否有足够的人文温度？这个竹之世界有什么能够吸引客人的特点？客人能体验和感受什么、走的时候能带走什么？
Creativity needs to be implemented in a practical way, and the identities of designers and users need to be changed. Think about how to express and build this world? What kind of experience can such a world bring to guests? Does this world have enough human warmth? What are the characteristics of this bamboo world that can attract guests? What can guests experience and feel, and what can they take away when they leave?
市场上的很多酒店、民宿都是“差不多”，不能说一模一样也可以说“形似”了，是没有个性的流水线产品。脱离无意义的堆砌，着眼解决空间问题才是构建一座独一无二的建筑空间。
Many hotels and B&Bs on the market are "almost the same". They are assembly line products without personality. Only by getting rid of meaningless piling and focusing on solving space problems can we build a unique architectural space.
竹片加工成片、条、板状 → 高温蒸煮 → 石灰水浸泡（以达到防虫、防腐和防霉的效果） → 结合阻燃处理
通过竹材不同的肌理质感来表达空间。客房内部以竹条、竹片、竹皮三种不同的材料肌理，搭建成拱形的竹编，形成每个空间独一无二的表皮。过道顶面以原竹构筑，追求一种时空的“错乱”——是漫步在竹海、还是停留在“拾捨”？大厅楼梯间以竹编造型，灯光将光影投射在墙上，像是竹海里被打碎的阳光。
Bamboo chips are processed into slices, strips, and plates → high-temperature steaming → soaked in lime water (to achieve insect-proof, anti-corrosion and anti-mildew effects) → combined with flame-retardant treatment to express space through the different textures of bamboo. The interior of the guest room is made of three different material textures: bamboo strips, bamboo slices, and bamboo skin, which are constructed into an arched bamboo weave, forming a unique skin for each space. The top surface of the aisle is constructed of original bamboo, pursuing a kind of "chaos" of time and space - strolling in the sea of bamboo, or staying in "picking up houses"? The stairwell in the lobby is made of bamboo, and the light casts light and shadow on the wall, like broken sunlight in a sea of bamboo.
整个设计更像是一个竹材的产品设计。建筑设计过程中找到了一种新的竹材运用方式。希望能够通过这样的思考与呼唤，为竹子这一自然、环保、再生能力强的材料，找到一个焕发新生的机会。
The whole design is more like a bamboo product design. A new way of using bamboo was found in the architectural design process. We hope that through such thinking and calling, we can find a new opportunity for bamboo, a natural, environmentally friendly and regenerative material, to be rejuvenated.
拾捨·竹里馆的设计框架十分现代，但在框架的背后，饱含我对于中国传统文化的理解和坚守。
尊重历史，回归自然。
The design framework of Shishe·Zhuli Pavilion is very modern, but behind the framework is my understanding and persistence of traditional Chinese culture. Respect history and return to nature.
