2019年9月5日上午，在上海举行的第三届中国国际轻量化论坛上，VAMA&GONVVAMA一体成型内外双门环系统荣获最佳轻量化设计奖。这是内外双门环系统解决方案于2018年底在国内实现量产以来第一次参与国内轻量化设计大赛并一举得奖。
On the morning of September 5, 2019, at the 3rd China Global Lightweight Forum held in Shanghai, VAMA&GONVVAMA's one-piece hot stamped double door ring system won the Best Light-weighting Design Award.This is the first successful attempt in competing for domestic light-weighting design award with inner & outer double door ring system since its local mass-production at the end of 2018 .

一体化热成型双门环系统是VAMA和GONVVAMA带来中国市场的重要创新。基于该设计，汽车的门框部位的加强板和内板分别闭合成一个一体式环状结构。该设计大大提升了汽车的碰撞安全性，降低整车重量以及带来制造和装配工艺的重大精简和变革。
The one-piece hot stamped double door ring system is an important innovation brought forth by VAMA and GONVVAMA to the Chinese market. Based on this design, the reinforcement and inner plate of the door frame are closed into an integrated ring respectively. The design not only gives much better crash performance and significant weight reduction, but also represents great simplification and change in the manufacturing and assembly process.
2014年，本田讴歌MDX车型采用了世界上第一个热成型激光拼焊一体式外门环。该设计改善了这一车型的碰撞能量管理，优化了装配流程，通过采用不同厚度的激光拼焊板相对于上一代设计实现了23%的减重。同时这是世界上第一款量产热成型激光拼焊一体式门环。该设计获得了2014年美国金属市场（AMM）优秀钢材奖最佳创新工艺奖，2014年PACE创新合作伙伴奖以及PACE制造工艺和设备奖。2017年克莱斯勒大捷龙以及2018年道奇RAM 1500也采用了热成型激光拼焊一体式门环解决方案。
In 2014, the world's first hot stamped laser-welded outer door ring saw its first application on the Honda Acura MDX model. By using laser welded blanks of different thickness, the design improves crash energy management, optimizes assembly process, and achieves a 23% weight reduction over the previous generation. What's more, this is the world's first mass-produced hot stamped laser-welded door ring. The design won the 2014 AMM Award for Steel Excellence (Best Innovation: Process), 2014 PACE Awards (Innovation Partnership and Manufacturing Process and Equipment). Hot stamped laser-welded door ring solutions are also adopted on 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and 2018 Dodge RAM 1500.
2018年底于中国量产的广汽本田讴歌RDX车型采用了世界上首个双门环系统：即同时采用热成型激光拼焊一体式外门环和热成型激光拼焊一体式内门环的创新设计。该解决方案和产品均由VAMA和GONVVAMA提供。与上一代设计相比，新的双门环设计实现了20%的减重。
GAC Honda Acura RDX, which was mass-produced in China at the end of 2018, is equipped with the world's first one-piece hot stamped double door ring system, namely, the innovative design of hot-stamped laser welded outer door ring and hot-stamped laser-welded inner door ring. The solutions and products are provided by VAMA and GONVVAMA. Compared to the previous design,20% weight reduction can be achieved by the new inner and outer door ring design.
在第三届中国国际轻量化论坛上，VAMA 首席营销官Jurgen Cobbault向与会人员介绍了VAMA&GONVVAMA最新的Usibor®2000和Ductibor®1000解决方案：“由于抗拉强度高，Usibor®2000是“安全笼式车体”零件的最佳选择，而Ductibor®1000由于其良好的碰撞延展性则能够吸收高能量“。
In the 3rd China International Vehicles Lightweight Forum, Jurgen Cobbault,VAMA CMO, introduced the latest Usibor®2000 and Ductibor®1000 solution. "Thanks to the high tensile strength, Usibor®2000 is the best suited choice for the "safety cage" parts. Ductibor®1000 allows to absorb high energy thanks to its good crash ductility".
安赛乐米塔尔高级研究工程师Jean-Noel GACEL进一步通过案例和技术分析介绍了为何热成型激光拼焊门环能够在重量、成本和安全性能方面达到最佳平衡:“同客户进行联合工程能帮助我们创新并找到优化成本、实现最大减重、并提高材料利用率的新方法。”
Jean-Noel Gacel, Senior Research Engineer of ArcelorMittal explained why HS LWB Door Rings provide the optimal balance of weight, cost and performance with different cases and technical analysis.“Co-Engineering with our customers allows us to innovate and find new ways to cost optimize, maximize weight savings, improve material utilization”
