As the largest economy in Europe, Germany has consistently been at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. To improve energy efficiency and reduce electricity costs, Germany's photovoltaic market has developed rapidly. In recent years, due to the oversupply of electricity, instances of negative electricity prices have frequently occurred in Germany and across Europe. To address this issue, energy storage may become a crucial solution.
截至2024年4月，德国储能累计装机达到12.9GWh，其中户储装机量为10.8GWh，占83.7%；工商储能505.8MWh，占3.9%；大型储能1.6GWh，占12.4%。此外，德国各州政府出台多种优惠政策，如允许购置户用储能设备成本用于抵免个人所得税或直接获得补贴等。
As of April 2024, Germany's cumulative installed energy storage capacity reached 12.9 GWh. Of this, residential storage accounted for 10.8 GWh, making up 83.7%; commercial and industrial storage amounted to 505.8 MWh, constituting 3.9%; and large-scale storage was at 1.6 GWh, representing 12.4%. Additionally, various state governments in Germany have introduced numerous incentive policies, such as allowing the cost of residential energy storage equipment to be offset against personal income tax or providing direct subsidies.

The EES Europe 2024 in Munich, Germany, is the largest and most international battery energy storage exhibition in Europe. At this exhibition, CHISAGE ESS reunited with new and old friends with a more mature presence. Our products, including the Mars series 5-14kW three-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter, low-voltage lithium battery packs, and containerized BESS, were highly appreciated by customers. The new Merc series high-voltage 20-60kW hybrid inverter made its debut in the European market, capable of modular free combination within 1.2MW when paired with high-voltage batteries, attracting a large number of visitors.

The German market has strict standards and requirements for energy storage products. Our residential hybrid inverters' 20-unit parallel operation feature, intelligent monitoring platform, and VDE certification have received high praise from customers. Through in-depth communication with customers, we also learned about Germany's strong demand for large-scale energy storage. Locally, there is a desire to use energy storage for frequency regulation, peak shaving and valley filling, aiming to enhance the grid's ability to adapt to renewable energy fluctuations while increasing energy utilization to maximize benefits.

The 18 exhibition halls were fully occupied, attracting numerous professional representatives to visit and exchange ideas. Despite the many challenges facing the European energy storage market and the pessimistic outlook of many peers, CHISAGE ESS demonstrated strong market competitiveness with its excellent products and technical prowess. The company successfully secured partnerships with over a dozen agents from six to seven new markets and received orders worth millions of dollars, achieving remarkable results.
