这些测试标准于2016年12月12日被纳入复合木制品甲醛释放最终标准(81 FR 89674)，由于各标准已经被更新、替代或撤销，下表列出了复合木制品甲醛排放测试标准的最新版本。
此外，该标准采纳了加州空气资源委员会（CARB）批准的两种甲醛相关测试方法。如果EPA在11月09日之前未收到不利评议，该标准将于2017年12月11日生效。
