On 17th May 2018, the Official Journal of the European Union published commission directive (EU) 2018/725 to amend point 13 of part III of Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys, as regards chromium VI.
In point 13 of Part III of Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC, the entry for chromium VI is replaced by the following entry:

This Directive shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall be implemented on November 18, 2019.
