Oregon has proposed modifying its list of reportable substances under the state's children’s products reporting rule.

The Oregon Health Authority drafted the following changes to the list of high priority chemicals of concern. If approved, the number of listed chemicals shall become 68.

The latest proposal calls for adding five of the 20 substances that Washington added to the CHCC list last autumn. The five are:

If adopted, the changes to the reportable substance list are slated to take effect for the next biennial reporting deadline – 1 January 2020.
