On 24th July 2018, the New York State Assembly has put forth a bill than bans BPA substitution chemicals in children's products.
The bill would expand existing legislation that prohibits the sale of child care products that contain bisphenol A. The ban would expand to include: bisphenol AF (BPAF), bisphenol Z (BPZ), bisphenol S (BPS), bisphenol F (BPF), bisphenol AP (BPAP) and bisphenol B (BPB).
The new bill is scheduled to take effect December 31, 2019.

MTS reminds related companies to timely follow up on new laws and regulations, produce and export according to requirements, and pay attention to the requirements of the declaration of conformity. Scientific safety assessments must be carried out during the product design phase to the bulk production phase to ensure that relevant products meet the new regulatory requirements and avoid export risk.
