此枚银币为中华民国三年袁大头，银币正面镌袁世凯戎装侧面头像，上方镌有发行年号。背面正中间从上至下"壹圆"二字，四周稻穗围绕。钱币保存较好，色泽自然，底板圆润并带银光，音色柔长、图案清晰立体感强，边齿无磕碰，包浆自然，品相上乘，值得收藏。
This silver coin is Yuan Datou of the Republic of China for three years. The silver coin has Yuan Shikai's side portrait on the front and the issue number on the top. On the back, in the middle, the word "one circle" from top to bottom is surrounded by rice panicles. 袁世凯于1912年就任中华民国大总统， 由于当时铸币、纸币十分复杂，市面上流通的中外货币在百种以上，规格不一，流通混乱，折算繁琐，民众积怨，同时袁世凯也想借助货币改制以解决军费问题，便决定铸发国币。时年袁世凯为了提高自己的统治地位，趁机把他的头像铸于币面，“袁大头”应运而生。该币具有很深远的历史价值，收藏价值极高。
