宋初经济得到迅猛发展，铸币量超出唐代20倍。宋第二帝太宗于端拱三年改元淳化，淳化元年(990年)五月改铸发行淳化元宝钱。皇帝亲书隶、行、草三体钱文，成为皇帝亲书钱文(称御书)之始，又是行、草入钱之始。两宋300余年凡18帝(末代三帝名存实亡)，改年号57次，铸年号宝文钱43种(不包括大小和书法等版别变化)之多。宋朝钱币变化多样，主要是书体和字体读法的变化，书法字体的变化有隶体、行体、草体、楷体和篆体等，到了南宋，钱文书法开始以楷书为主，沿至元、明、清，历代铸币多以楷书为钱文。字体读法为对读、旋读之分，对读即上下右左读，旋读即上右下左读。如庆历钱是宋折二钱铸行开端，并形成南宋以折二钱为主的币制，开折二钱铜铁并用，对读旋读并存之先河。

In Southern Song Dynasty, regular script was the main form of money calligraphy, and along the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, regular script was the main form of coins in the past dynasties. Font pronunciation is divided into reading and rotary pronunciation. Reading in pairs means reading up, down, right and left, and rotary pronunciation means reading up, right and down and left. For example, Qingli Qian was the beginning of the founding of the Song Dynasty's two-fold coin bank, and formed the Southern Song Dynasty's two-fold coin system. It was the first time that the two-fold coin was used in both copper and iron to coexist in reading and reading.

祥符通宝（楷书，宋真宗大中祥符年间铸造）：
“祥符”乃祥瑞的符命，表福，禄，寿之意，富有祥瑞满溢之气，是名副其实的“吉祥符”。祥符钱自古即被作为“吉祥钱”收藏或赠予，它象征祥瑞符命，寓福、禄、寿之意，男女青年也多作为定情之物。
皇宋通宝（篆书，北宋仁宗赵祯宝元二年至皇佑末年铸造，非年号钱）：
皇宋通宝作为收藏古钱币之一，大多都是楷书出现得比较多，篆书出现的相对较少。因为篆体的市场价值较高，一般有收藏篆书的皇宋通宝的藏友都不舍得拿出来出手，都是自己保存起来了，所以现在市面上十分少见。
熙宁元宝（篆书，北宋神宗赵顼，熙宁年间铸造）：
“熙宁”是宋神宗赵顼的第一个年号，历时十年（1068—1077）。此币，钱文“熙宁元宝”，察其书意，此钱材质特殊，钱体厚重，端庄大方，字形大而饱满，较为抢眼。其次，观铸识相，铸制规整，厚薄适中，小平形制。其铸相方圆廓正，平整地章，不失为一件精美的收藏品。
元丰通宝（篆书和行书，北宋神宗赵顼，元丰年间铸造）：
这两枚元丰通宝正面字体书法分别为篆书和行书，元丰通宝有小平，折二钱和铁钱。书体有篆书、行书、隶书三种，互成对钱。版别极其复杂，其中以背月小平钱，小平大字篆书，隶书比较少见，另有铁钱，其中背“陕”者罕见。

As one of the collections of ancient coins, most of them appeared in regular scripts and seal books. Because the market value of seals is high, the collectors of Huangsong Tongbao who collects seals are reluctant to take it out and keep it for themselves, so it is very rare on the market now.
Xining Yuanbao (Seal Book, Zhao Hu, Shenzong of Northern Song Dynasty, foundry in Xining Dynasty):
"Xining" was the first year number of Zhao Qian, Shenzong of Song Dynasty, which lasted 10 years (1068-1077). This coin, Qian Wen "Xining Yuanbao", inspects its calligraphy, this money material is special, the money body is thick, dignified and generous, the font is big and full, more eye-catching. Secondly, we should observe and know the phase of casting, make regular casting, moderate thickness and small flat shape. Its cast phase is square, round and flat, which is an exquisite collection.
Yuanfeng Tongbao (Seals and Travel Books, Zhaoxu Shenzong of Northern Song Dynasty, Foundry in Yuanfeng Period):
These two Yuanfeng Tongbao front fonts are seal letters and line letters respectively. Yuanfeng Tongbao has Xiaoping, two-fold and iron money. There are seal script, line script and official script, which are paired with each other. The edition is extremely complicated. Among them, there are few official scripts and iron coins, especially those with "Shanxi" back.
