唐三彩是唐代陶器中的精华，在初唐、盛唐时达到高峰。“安史之乱”以后，随着唐王朝的逐步衰弱，由于瓷器的迅速发展，三彩器制作逐步衰退。后来又产生了“辽三彩”、“金三彩”、但在数量、质量以及艺术性方面，都远不及唐三彩。

此件唐三彩摆件，骆驼俑背载少数民族乐队，仰首嘶鸣，后脖直立，后腿略弯，仿佛到达目的地突然勒住。乐队每人手持乐器，深目高鼻，鬈发，头戴翻檐帽，身着窄袖束腰衣，肩披云带。整个藏品制作精细，人物表情丰富，以黄、绿、白、褐等色釉装饰。其色釉有浓淡变化、互相浸润、斑驳淋漓的效果，显出唐三彩独特的艺术魅力，极具收藏价值。
This Tang tri-color decoration, the camel figurines carrying ethnic minority bands, hoarse, back neck upright, hind legs slightly bent, as if arriving at the destination suddenly strangled. The band is armed with musical instruments, with deep eyes, high nose, curly hair, overhanging hat, Narrow Sleeve waistcoat and cloud band. The whole collection is exquisitely made with rich expression of characters, decorated with yellow, green, white and brown glazes. Its color glaze has the effect of shade change, mutual infiltration and mottling. It shows the unique artistic charm of Tang Tri-color and has great collection value.
唐三彩釉料中含有大量的铅，铅的氧化物作为熔剂，降低了釉料的熔融温度，在窑炉里烧制时各种金属(铜、铁、钴、锰等)氯化物熔于铅釉中并向四周扩散和流动，黄、绿、褐等多种颜色互相浸润，形成的釉面绚丽多彩，烘托出了富有浪漫色彩的盛唐气氛。这是唐代以前各种单色釉陶器所没有的艺术效果。
Tang tri-color glaze contains a large amount of lead. Lead oxide as a flux reduces the melting temperature of glaze. When fired in kiln, chloride of various metals (copper, iron, cobalt, manganese, etc.) melts in the lead glaze and diffuses and flows around it. Yellow, green and brown colors infiltrate each other. The glaze surface is gorgeous and colorful, which gives rise to a romantic atmosphere of Tang Dynasty. This is the artistic effect that all kinds of monochrome glazed pottery did not have before the Tang Dynasty.
