此双旗币产生于民国，正面圈内图案镌两面交叉的国旗，左为铁血十八星旗，右为五色旗，中间系结带，旗帜飘扬，双旗上方有五角星装饰。上缘为“湖南省造”四字，下缘为记值：当制钱二十文。左右两侧长枝花饰之。背面图案内圈为稻穗组成的嘉禾纹，外圈铸有英文。此币虽然历经沧桑，但纹路依然隐约可见，有着难以言表的收藏价值。整体材质珍贵，艺术价值高，制作精美，图案考究，文字清秀，内容丰富，难能可贵。
