辛亥革命后，光复的17省代表在南京推选孙中山为中华民国临时大总统。民国成立时由于币制尚未建立，主要的造币厂，大都仍沿用前清钢模铸造银币，以供流通需要。由于币制混乱，临时政府财政部长陈锦涛呈文大总统孙中山，鼓铸10万元纪念银币以为整顿。民国建立之初各地均有民国成立的民国纪念币发行，其中尤以天津造币厂铸造的开国纪念币最多，民国发行的铜币与清最大的区别是龙纹被换成了由稻穗组成的嘉禾纹。各省铸造的铜元大多为两面叉的国旗图案，并有“开国纪念币”或“中华民国铜币”字样。本文主要介绍一枚双旗币。
After the Revolution of 1911, 17 provincial representatives elected Sun Yat-sen as the interim president of the Republic of China in Nanjing. At the time of the founding of the Republic of China, because the currency system had not yet been established, most of the major mints still used the former steel mould to cast silver coins for circulation. Due to the currency system confusion, the interim government finance minister Chen Jintao presented to Sun Yat-sen, President of Wenda, to coin 100,000 yuan of commemorative silver coins for rectification. At the beginning of the Republic of China, the commemorative coins of the Republic of China were issued everywhere, especially those coined by Tianjin Mint. The biggest difference between the copper coins issued by the Republic of China and the Qing Dynasty is that the dragon pattern was replaced by the Jiahe pattern composed of rice ears. Most of the copper coins cast in the provinces are flag patterns with two forks and have the words "Founding Commemorative Coin" or "Copper Coin of the Republic of China". This paper mainly introduces a two-flag coin.

此枚双旗币钱文清晰，古旧自然，钱币正面珠圈内为两面交叉的国旗，左为铁血十八星旗，右为五色旗。两面旗帜左右交叉，中系结带，旗帜飘扬，双旗上方有五角星装饰。珠圈上环楷体“中华民国”字样，下环“开国纪念币”五字，左右两侧铸有长枝花装饰。钱币背面珠圈内为嘉禾图案和币值，珠圈中央竖写“十文”字样，外围嘉禾图案，纹饰逼真，凹凸有致，栩栩如生。嘉禾寓意家和、五谷丰登，表达国家注重农桑和关心百姓生活。上环英文“中华民国”，下环英文“十文”字样。
This double-flag coin is clear, old and natural. In the front bead circle of the coin, there are two intersecting flags. On the left, there are 18 stars of iron blood, and on the right, there are five colored flags. The two flags are crossed left and right, tied in the middle, and the flag is flying. There are five-pointed stars above the two flags. The word "Republic of China" in italic on the bead ring and the word "Founding Commemorative Coin" in the lower ring are decorated with long branches and flowers on both sides of the bead ring. In the bead circle on the back of the coin is the Jiahe pattern and the value of the currency. In the center of the bead circle, the word "ten characters" is written vertically. In the outer part, the Jiahe pattern is vivid, concave and convex, and lifelike. Jiahe implied "He" and "Wugu Fengdeng", expressing that the country pays attention to agriculture and mulberry and cares about people's lives. The English words "Republic of China" in the upper ring and the English words "ten articles" in the lower ring.
