此中华民国二十三年双帆币，银币正面上环镌有“中华民国二十三年”字样，中间为孙中山侧面像。背面镌刻双桅帆船放洋图，船两侧楷书“壹圆”各一字，中间有一双桅帆船正乘风破浪，故因背帆船，而又简称孙像船洋，或船洋。此币文字清晰，图案精美，头像生动传神，铸造技术非常精湛，而且这枚藏品保存较好，其色泽自然细腻，图文深浅合适；币中孙中山头像更是栩栩如生，铸工无双。具有极高的艺术价值，历史价值。
