辛亥革命后，已光复的17省代表在南京推选孙中山为中华民国临时大总统。中华民国政府宣告成立后，清朝灭亡，在中国持续两千多年的封建君主专制随之结束。民国成立时，由于币制尚未建立，除四川改铸大汉银币，福建改铸中华元宝外，主要的造币厂，大都仍沿用前清钢模铸造银币，以供流通需要。由于币制混乱，中国民主主义革命的先驱者孙中山就任中华民国临时大总统，并在颁布的“临时大总统令”中提出要“另刊新模，鼓铸纪念币”，随后武昌和南京两处造币厂率先铸行了铜币，在全国大量发行以取代清朝铜元。本文主要介绍一枚湖南省造双旗币。
After the Revolution of 1911, 17 provincial representatives who had recovered elected Sun Yat-sen as the interim president of the Republic of China in Nanjing. After the founding of the government of the Republic of China, the Qing Dynasty collapsed and the feudal monarchy which lasted for more than two thousand years in China ended. At the time of the founding of the Republic of China, because the currency system had not yet been established, besides Sichuan and Fujian, the main coin factories still used the former Qing steel mould to cast silver coins for circulation. Because of the disorder of the currency system, Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution, took office as the interim president of the Republic of China. In his "interim presidential decree", he proposed to "publish new models and mint commemorative coins". Subsequently, two mints in Wuchang and Nanjing took the lead in minting copper coins, which were issued in large quantities throughout the country to replace the Qing Dynasty copper yuan. This paper mainly introduces a double-flag coin made in Hunan Province.

此枚湖南省造双旗币几经历代的传承和沧桑，更显其自然和古朴的旧币品相，磨损处的光滑表面，在阳光下依然习习生辉。钱币正面中央为两面交叉的旗帜图案，分别为铁血十八星旗和中华民国国旗，左右交叉，中系结带。上环中文“湖南省造”四字，下环“当制钱二十文”字样，左右为花卉图案，栩栩如生。钱币背面中央为嘉禾图案，嘉禾古称生长奇异的禾，古人认为是吉祥的征兆，人们认为它们是政治清明，天下太平的征兆。上镌英文“中华民国”，下镌英文“二十文”。钱币笔画圆润饱满，整币设计古朴大方，精致美观，极具收藏价值。
After several generations of inheritance and vicissitudes, this double-flag coin made in Hunan Province shows its natural and primitive features of the old currency. The smooth surface of the worn area is still used to shine in the sunshine. The front and center of the coin are two cross flag patterns, namely, the Iron Blood Eighteen Star Flag and the Republic of China Flag, with left and right cross and middle tie. The four characters of "Made in Hunan Province" in Shanghuan Chinese and the words "Made in Twenty Texts of Money" in the lower ring are vivid flower patterns. The central side of the coin is the Jiahe pattern. Jiahe was called the growth of strange crops in ancient times. The ancients thought it was a sign of good luck. People thought it was a sign of political clarity and peace in the world. The Republic of China in English and the Twenty Languages in English. The pen and strokes of coins are round and plump, the design of the whole coin is simple and generous, exquisite and beautiful, and it has great collection value.
