This collection is the fifth yen coin issued by the Japanese government in the forty-fourth year of Guozhaohe, Japan. It is also known as the five yen coin. The words "Japan" and "Zhaohe 44" were cast on the front and bottom respectively. It is separated by two leaves, representing forestry. The back design uses industry-related themes. Rice panicle, water (water surface, multiple horizontal lines at the root of rice panicle) and gear (around perforation) represent agriculture, aquaculture and industry respectively.
