此枚江南省造光绪元宝每元当制钱十文，钱币正面珠圈内镌汉文“光绪元宝”四字，中央为满文，圈外上端镌“江南省造”，下端镌币值“每元当制钱十文”，左右两侧分镌干支纪年“壬寅”字样。背面中央镌蟠龙图，外环镌英文。此币包浆完好，品相上等，龙纹清晰，字迹工整，保存不错，有着极高的收藏价值。
This Guangxu Yuanbao made in Jiangnan Province is ten pieces of money per yuan. The four characters of Chinese "Guangxu Yuanbao" are inscribed in the front Pearl circle. The central part is Manchu. The upper end of the circle is inscribed "Made in Jiangnan Province". The lower end is inscribed "Ten pieces of money per yuan". The left and right sides of the coin are inscribed with the words "Renyin". Central Dragon Dragon on the Back, English on the Outer Ring. 光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。珍贵的光绪元宝钱币记载着清朝惊天动地的历史，由于历经百年风雨，存世量极为稀少，尤其此枚江南省造光绪元宝，品相完好，更为稀缺，因此很受收藏爱好者青睐。
