清代时期，为了流通兑换行用时的方便，官铸的光绪元宝很多面值是一两的多有铸成实重为库平七钱二分的壹圆型银币版式。如戊申吉字大清银币库平一两、户部光绪元宝库平一两等等，都有实际重量为一两型和重库平七钱二分的流通壹圆型两种版式。户部一两是中国银本位货币制度的最精美的代表，为了体现满清皇权制度在货币领域的权威，其设计制造者不计成本地进行了精美绝伦的设计。其艺术水准、防伪能力迄今没有被超越。鉴于其库平一两的重量设计与库平七钱二分的国际、国内市场惯例不符，制作成本过高，自1903年下半年制作一批后，一直没有流通，就被回炉，所以旷世罕见。就该币本身而言，其艺术价值远超其文物价值。本文主要介绍一枚光绪元宝户部库平一两。

In order to embody the authority of the Manchu and Qing imperial power system in the monetary field, its designers and manufacturers made exquisite designs regardless of cost. Its artistic level and anti-counterfeiting ability have not been surpassed so far. In view of the inconsistency between the weight design of Kuping's one or two pieces and the international and domestic market practices of Kuping's seven-dollar-two parts, the production cost is too high. Since the production of a batch in the second half of 1903, it has not circulated and has been returned to the furnace, so it is rare in the world. As far as the currency itself is concerned, its artistic value far exceeds its cultural relic value. This paper mainly introduces a Kuping one or two of Guangxu Yuanbao household.

此枚光绪元宝户部库平一两，正面中央镌汉文“光绪元宝”，外围上镌满文“光绪元宝”，下镌币值“库平一两”，左右分镌“户”、“部”二字；背面中间镌蟠龙图，外围镌英文“光绪二十九年户部”，乃清代户部铸造的著名珍稀银币。此枚银币工艺精湛，雕工完美，浮雕感强，楷体文字书法苍劲有力，字体结构舒展大气，间架平衡和谐。表面的包浆醇厚，即便是对银元没有研究的外行也是爱不释手，极具观赏性。且银币虽然经历了无穷岁月，但纹路依然清晰可见，同时也见证了其历史的积淀，具有非常明显的历史过渡性特征，有着难以言喻的价值。
