The kiln was first built in the late Tang and Five Dynasties. Its products were celadon, and the Song Dynasty was its heyday. It mainly produced black porcelain. Its products were mainly bowls, commonly known as Jianzhuang, which spread all over the world and had a wide influence. Therefore, it established the status of the famous kiln in the history of kiln construction. This calendar is simple in shape, compact in shape and open in shape, and its black porcelain glaze color varies endlessly. Collections belong to the category of ancient crystalline glaze with high iron content. In the process of melting and firing at high temperature, the glaze surface produces peculiar patterns due to the change of the temperature and atmosphere in the kiln. These patterns are different from the gorgeous paintings or the elaborate decorations. They are the result of the changes of glaze in a certain temperature and atmosphere. Like God's help, it has mysterious artistic charm and great appreciation value.
Dou tea was popular in Song Dynasty, and the black glazed tea calendar suitable for Dou tea, also known as Jianzhao, was the most popular kiln product in Shuiji Town and was popular with scholars. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, the black glazed Calendula was used for making Doucha for the court, and the words "Jinzhan" and "for the imperial court" were inscribed on the bottom of the calendula. Jianyang kiln products use high iron content raw materials to make tyres, so the color of tyres is dark, black and hard, commonly known as "iron tyres", or black clay kiln, black construction, black clay construction and so on. Black glaze is applied inside and outside the calyx. The outer glaze can not reach the bottom and expose the black fetus. Black glazed Calendula is decorated with the patches formed by iron crystallization, which are called rabbit hair in strip shape. It has yellow and white color. Therefore, it has the nicknames of gold, Silver Rabbit hair, jade hair, rabbit hair, etc. and also has the shape of oil droplet crystallization. Song people call it partridge hair.
