民国时期，江西复设造币厂，主要铸造了大汉铜币和江西铜币两个品种。由于民国政局动荡，铜元生产质量参差不齐，南昌造币厂几经停铸。民国2年，财政部致电江西政府，要求严查铜元生产。江西铜币的铸行是全国最早体现新生革命政权建立的机制币，尽管它的问世距辛亥革命不过两个多月的仓促时间而铸期短，竟能以一种超凡脱俗的全新面貌出现，其铸量尤为显得稀少。因为，该币在精神层面中的价值，是不能与现实流通货币价值而相提并论的，其深远的历史价值和文化价值，使之具有深刻的现实意义和不可复制的替代性。本文主要介绍一枚江西铜币。

此枚铜币为中华民国江西壬子当十铜币，品相保存完好，字迹清晰，包浆自然，没有瑕疵。钱币正面珠圈内铸中文“江西铜币”，上环“中华民国”四字，珠圈左镌“子”字、右镌“壬字”,读作“壬子”，珠圈下铸币值，为中文繁体“当十”字样。钱币背面珠圈中央为铁血十八星旗图案，寓意中华民国永久生存之象，珠圈上环英文“江西”，下环英文“十文”字样，左右为菊纹图案。整个图案蕴涵全国十八行省之民众共同复兴大汉民族，建立自由、平等、独立的中华民国之决心。江西壬子铜币是第一个将流通货币上象征大清帝国的龙纹和体现皇权威严的年号抛进了历史垃圾堆的钱币。
This copper coin is a ten-copper coin of Jiangxi Renzi in the Republic of China. It is well preserved, with clear handwriting, natural pulping and no defects. On the front side of the coin, the four characters of "Jiangxi Copper coin" are coined in the Pearl circle, the four words of "Republic of China" in the upper ring, the left and right words of "Zi" in the Pearl circle, which are pronounced as "Renzi", and the coinage value under the Pearl circle is the traditional Chinese character "Dang Shi". The pearl circle on the back of the coin has a pattern of 18 stars of iron and blood in the center, which implies the image of the permanent survival of the Republic of China. The word "Jiangxi" is on the top of the Pearl circle and the word "ten characters" is on the bottom of the Pearl circle, with the chrysanthemum pattern on the left and right. The whole design contains the determination of the people of the eighteen provinces to revive the Han nationality and establish a free, equal and independent Republic of China. Jiangxi Renzi copper coin was the first coin to throw the dragon pattern symbolizing the Qing Empire and the year number reflecting the emperor's authority into the historical rubbish dump.
