此枚咸丰通宝钱币为方孔圆钱，钱币正面铸楷书“咸丰通宝”，上下右左直读。钱币背面左右书满文为铸造钱局。钱文深峻细瘦，笔划坚挺有神，交叉弯折处呈清角，有明显的拔模斜度。虽流传日久，“刀痕化尽”，然借助于放大镜，仍可看到细微的刀痕，传世包浆。该币包浆老旧，钱币字间生有铜锈，整体有些磨损，历史气息浑厚，收藏佳。
