此枚清代景泰蓝红宝石戒指为清代中期乾隆嘉庆时期物件，戒指全身采用清代工艺，其一，采用了银镏金工艺，就是红宝石戒指采用足银制作上面镏一层黄金，现在俗称镀金。其二，采用了清代皇室景泰蓝工艺，红宝石两边镶两只金蟾，金蟾采黄金制作，上面是景泰蓝工艺，名副其实是真正用黄金制造出来的景泰蓝金蟾，金蟾的意义比较广泛，吉祥如意，招财进宝，避邪去难等等，民国时期此工艺已经失传。其三，采用了清代皇家顶级工艺之雷丝工艺，红宝石戒指明显有一条如龙身般的雷丝围绕，工艺非常精美，设计非常巧妙，完全手工制作而成，雷丝工艺早已失传。
