此币正面铸有楷书“咸丰重宝”四字，从上而下而右而左直读。钱背上下写有汉文“当十”二字标明币值，左右用满文写有钱局的名称（宝苏）。咸丰重宝是清代文宗咸丰年间铸。咸丰统治时期，正是大清王朝的多事之秋。咸丰重宝当十是圆形方孔铜质钱币，为难得一见的珍品古钱。此币钱体具有较厚重的质感，币面书法笔力挺拔秀美，工笔雕刻细腻，包浆古生古韵，连细节之处均精雕细琢、几乎完美，彰显出自身独树一帜的贵族气貌，历史价值极高。
