北洋造光绪元宝银元在众多光绪元宝中地位价值极高，我国的辽宁，河北及山东等沿海各省，泛称为“北洋”，自广东、湖北自铸银元后，广受欢迎，朝廷亦鼓励各省仿铸。于光绪二十二年起，由当时以制造军火为主的北洋机器局附铸银元。

此枚钱币精品“北洋造光绪元宝库平七钱二分”，钱币正面珠圈内满汉文“光绪元宝”，圈外上环“北洋造"，下环“库平七钱二分”，左右各一圆点心。钱币背面中心为蟠龙图，上下环英文，左侧有阿拉伯数字“34”。钱币包浆老道、品相完整、文字和纹饰，皆十分精到，凸凹鲜明，历史留下的痕迹清晰可见。
This fine coin "Beiyang Guangxu Yuan Treasury Ping Qian Bian", the front bead circle of the coin Manchu "Guangxu Yuan Bao", the outer ring of the coin "Beiyang Made", the lower ring "Kuping Qian Bian", about a dim sum. The center on the back of the coin is a picture of the dragon, with the upper and lower rings in English, and the Arabic numeral "34" on the left. The coin purse is old-fashioned, complete in appearance, exquisite in writing and decoration, with distinct convexity and concaveness, and the traces left by history are clearly visible.
清朝末年，朝野上下发生了银元单位之争，币制未统一。北洋机器局更名北洋造币局，铸行较早脱离“两单位”的银币后，又于光绪二十五年始，铸行面值库平纪重的“光绪元宝”，在这类币的背面左側阿拉伯数字表示该币为光绪X年版，北洋造34年光绪元宝库平七钱二分发行量少，市场稀缺，为稀有币种。

The Arabic numerals on the left side of the back of this kind of coin indicate that the currency is the "Guangxu X" version. In the 34 years of Beiyang Ming, the Kuping seven-dollar treasure bank has a small circulation and a scarce market, making it a rare currency.
