磁州窑，窑址位于今河北省邯郸市彭城和磁县等地，因磁县在宋代属于磁州，故称为磁州窑。磁州窑是我国古代北方最大的一个民窑体系，也是著名的民间瓷窑。它自北朝创烧，于宋金元时期达到鼎盛，经明清至今，历千年而不衰。

此藏品为元代磁州窑，盘侈口圆唇，浅腹圈足。胎子厚重，略显粗糙，外壁沿下施酱釉，乍一看还以为农村的大酱抹上去的。元代豪放的草原民族，造器简单粗犷，民风情调浓郁。鲜明的元代磁州窑特征。此器造型古朴舒展，胎釉坚密温润，器表老气自然，造型工整，极具收藏研究价值。
