唐寅，初字伯虎，更字子畏，号六如居士，明代画家，吴县(今江苏苏州)人。吴门画派的代表人物，与沈周、文徵明、仇英并称明代四大家(吴门四家)。擅长画山水、人物、花鸟等。他的山水画风格秀逸清俊，笔墨细秀，布局疏朗。人物画师承唐代传统，多以仕女和历史故事为题材，色彩或艳丽或清雅，线条清细，体态优美。花鸟画洒脱随意，格调秀逸，长于水墨写意。

“当时叮嘱向西流，无端东下人间去”，东下人间是指宫外，那么对应的向西应该是皇宫深处。向西流和向东流是截然不同的人生命运。
寂寞凄苦的宫女一般都是题诗红叶向东流，而此处的题诗却是叮嘱红叶向西流，这是期盼皇帝可以看到，你冷落臣妾太久了。你看，不但我诗写的好，书法也好，还不关注我?！
“却使君王不信愁”，强做欢颜，表情中略略透出一丝美好回忆和期盼。您觉得她是在笑，还是在愁呢？臣妾如此努力，还换不来你的真心。
