珐琅，又称“佛郎”“法蓝“”，其实又称景泰蓝，是一外来语的音译词。珐琅一词源于中国隋唐时古西域地名拂菻。当时东罗马帝国和西亚地中海沿岸诸地制造的搪瓷嵌釉工艺品称拂菻嵌或佛郎嵌、佛朗机，简化为拂菻。出现景泰蓝后转音为发蓝，后又为珐琅。
