孙小头镍币到1943年停铸，国内外众造币厂共铸造了21种版式用于流转行用。在抗战时期，国内众造币厂铸造镍币的"编年""币值"各有不同，加之镍辅币流转不畅，构成不同版式的镍币在国内各地流转散布极不均衡，堆积民间不同版式的镍币显现出地域性不同。

此枚中华民国三十一年孙小头镍币半圆，钱币正反面边缘饰回形纹，正面中心为有孙中山先生的五分侧面像，上环“中华民国三十一年”字样；背面中央为布币图案，左右有币值“半圆”。藏品历史痕迹明显，放在手心，一股沧桑之感扑面而来。其色泽自然，包浆温润，形制规整，纹饰、字体精细，具有不错的收藏价值。
The 31-year-old Sun Xiaotou nickel coin of the Republic of China is half-circle. The front and back edges of the coin are decorated with palindromes.
