“花钱”起源于汉朝盛于清朝，汉朝鼎盛时期，国富民强，人民安居乐业，汉天子准许民间私铸钱币，“花钱”开始应运而生，起初的“花钱”只是民间把玩的一种鉴赏品，种类丰富多彩，虽然有钱币的形态，但是不作流通用途。

此枚清代时期的顺治通宝花钱，正面是由楷书书写的顺治通宝，其背面“日月双猴纹”。清世祖福临在位十八年 ，在这十八年当中，共有两个“猴年”，一是顺治元年（甲申年1644）， 二是顺治十三年（丙申年1656）。又因为甲申年是顺治皇登基的大喜的日子，采用了“日月双辉照猴年”这一无文吉祥语、祝福语，是恰如其分的，在“日月双辉照猴年”的光辉照耀下，使得大清帝国旗开得胜，能维持267年之久。
This Tongbao of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty spent money. The front of it is Shunzhi Tongbao written in regular script, and its back is "double monkey pattern of sun and moon". During the eighteen years of Zufulin's reign in the Qing Dynasty, there were two "monkey years". 此钱币整体造型以精铜铸造，品相完好，十分精致，包浆浑厚温润，字体端庄规矩，笔画圆润工整，为难得一见的精品。从钱币背面鉴赏时，经上下翻转两次，就会看出两种效果。一是太阳从东方升起时，月亮还在西方，二是当太阳落到了西方，月亮又从东方爬起来，就这样使得一天24小时都是光辉灿烂，这就是“日月双辉”的现象，极具收藏价值。
