辛亥革命后，清朝宣统皇帝宣布退位，持续两千多年的封建制度轰然落幕，孙中山被推选为中华民国临时大总统。中民国成立时，由于币制尚未建立，除四川改铸大汉银币，福建改铸中华元宝外，主要的造币厂，大都仍沿用前清钢模铸造银币，以供流通需要。由于币制混乱，临时政府财政部长陈锦涛呈文大总统孙中山，鼓铸十万元纪念银币以为整顿。湖南省造双旗当制钱二十文，就是产生于这一历史时期。本文主要介绍一枚双旗币。
After the Revolution of 1911, Emperor Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty announced his abdication, and the feudal system that lasted for more than two thousand years came to an abrupt end. Sun Yat-sen was elected as the interim president of the Republic of China. When the Republic of China was founded, because the currency system had not yet been established, besides Sichuan and Fujian, the main coin factories still used the former Qing steel mould to cast silver coins for circulation. Due to the currency system confusion, the interim government finance minister Chen Jintao presented to Sun Yat-sen, President of Wenda, to coin 100,000 yuan of commemorative silver coins for rectification. It was in this historical period that Hunan Province built two flags to make twenty pieces of money. This paper mainly introduces a two-flag coin.

此枚双旗币久经沧桑，有流通过的痕迹，钱币正面线圈内为双旗图案，双旗为铁血十八星旗和五色旗，两面旗帜左右交互，中系结带。铁血十八星旗是武昌起义胜利的标志十八颗星为十八个行省，以此代表全国。武昌义旗一举，各省云起响应，一场全国规模的反清革命运动迅速兴起，最后导致清王朝的终结。五色旗是中华民国国旗，是中华民国第一面法定国旗。上环中文“湖南省造”，下环中文“当制钱二十文”，左右铸有长枝花饰。钱币背面线圈内为嘉禾图案，上环英文“中华民国”，下环英文“二十文”。

The coil on the back of the coin has a Jiahe pattern, with the English words "Republic of China" in the upper ring and the English words "Twenty Texts" in the lower ring.
