今天以一款玛特维尼门多萨的酒款暂为前科迪勒拉(山麓地段)梦想(Dream of the Pre-cordillera)作个收官。玛特维尼走过了一条漫长的道路，从传统到未开发的地区，从年轻到古老的地质结构，从冲积到非冲积的土壤结构。沿着这条路，具有独特个性的葡萄酒作为自然的不同表现而出现。正如Achával所描述的那样，这段旅程“因变化而紧张，因个性而强烈，因兴奋而迷人”。从优克谷，到萨尔塔，再到卢汉德库约，最后回到门多萨，以这里传统的风土环境结束这趟“宁静号(Serenity)”之旅。

葡萄园位于卡诺塔谷,在门多萨市区以北40公里，西面靠近前科迪勒拉山脉(Precordillera mountain range)，东面靠近塞罗科罗拉多山(Cerro Colorado mountain)。
这款Viña Canota是100%的马尔贝克，来自门多萨卡诺塔谷(是个I.G.，相当于美国的AVA)。葡萄园海拔980~1200米，这里是古老、原始的、非冲积地质。土壤主要由半变质岩形成(semi-metamorphic Lutite rock，半岩石变质泥质岩，一种沉积岩，其原始成分是富含有机质的河流泥)。土壤中较细的成分含有大量的粘土和碳酸钙。岩石呈现出尖锐的角度和破碎的切面，这表明位移很小(非冲积土)。
这款卡诺塔，有着美妙的果香、结构和紧致，这是醉好的门多萨葡萄酒的特点，混合着辛辣和草药的味道，让人想起清晨漫步在山坡上的露珠。
Canota has the wonderful fruit and structure andausterity that define the best Mendoza wines, blended with a spiciness and herbnotes that speak of mountainside walks in the early morning with dew still on the plants.

The floral and explosive 2017 Antes Andes Viña Canota has ripeness and notable acidity, which might be the secret in this collection as the wines showed superbly.This has varietal character,tons of violets and raspberries and a somewhat wild character.It's medium to full-bodied with very fine tannins and a dry, chalky finish. It's super tasty!
Matervini is the project of Santiago Achavaland Roberto Cipresso ex-Achaval Ferrer. They produce 30,000 to 32,000 bottles of characterful wines from different locations along the Andes in Argentina.Ifound fresher wines despite most of them being from a warm and dry year. A nice progression.
