Who:
Tan Hao Ran, 187 cm / 6’1.5″, Chinese, born October 12th.
Why:
Hailing from smalltown China but currently based in NYC, Ran’s versatile good looks have already had him walking for Raf Simons S/S 18. Stateside until mid-September, clients better run to snap up Ran while they can.
We Asked:
What’s the most difficult thing you have ever done?
“I think the most difficult thing I have ever done was moving to New York all by myself. I am from a small town in China, so moving to the other side of the world was difficult, scary and exciting all at the same time.”
What have you learned since you started modelling?
“I have learned how to communicate with people and I have learned how to speak English. I was nervous to speak English before arriving in New York, but now I feel a lot more comfortable and confident.”
How and when did you become a model?
“One of my best friends is a model and he told me that I should try modelling. I met his agency a few days later and we have been working together ever since…”
