I am pleased to share the fantastic news that Symington Family Estates has been placed in the Top 50 World's Most Admired Wine Brands of 2021 – for the second consecutive year. An international jury of wine experts organised by Drinks International voted Symington at No#22 – one of only two Portuguese producers in the Top 50 along with Esporão. We are very honoured to be amongst legendary producers such as Torres, Penfolds, Antinori, Vega Sicilia, Catena, Guigal, and others.

ABOUT SYMINGTON FAMILY ESTATES

The Symingtons of Scottish, English and Portuguese descent have been Port producers in northern Portugal since 1882. For 5 generations they have combined their passion for producing fine wines and Ports with a deep commitment to the region’s land and people. Today, ten Symingtons work across their four Port houses: Graham’s, Cockburn’s, Dow’s and Warre’s, as well as their Douro wine brands – Quinta do Vesuvio, Quinta do Ataíde, Altano and Prats & Symington(of Chryseia fame). In 2017 they launched a new venture, Quinta da Fonte Souto, in the Portalegre sub-region of the Alto Alentejo.

波尔多传奇酿酒师布鲁诺·普拉茨（Bruno Prats）

为杜罗河产区所吸引着迷，决心打造全新酒款诠释杜罗河风土的多样性。1999年，作为曾经掌管一级名庄玛歌酒庄（Chateau Margaux）的显赫豪门，同时又是波尔多梅多克二级名庄爱士图尔（Chateau Cos d’Estournel）的庄主兼酿酒师，毅然决然离开波尔多的布鲁诺先生，和有“波特帝国“之称，拥有杜罗产区最好葡萄园的辛明顿（Symington）家族合资建立了P+S酒庄。P+S旗下所有的酒款都秉承着布鲁诺先生一贯坚持的“波尔多酿酒哲学”—— 推崇优雅与平衡。

2014年《葡萄酒观察家》杂志：

将Dow’s 2011 年年份波特（Dow’s Vintage Port 2011），评为“世界排名第一的葡萄酒”；

同期，P&S翠莎（Chryseia 2011，WS97'） 被评为“世界排名第三的葡萄酒”。
