Double Ninth Festival, Thank you ,the Olds!
重阳节是中国的传统节日，为弘扬民族文化，要让传统美德深入孩子们的心灵。教育幼儿有尊重长辈、关心、体贴长辈等良好品德养成更是乘势而发的良好契机。德乃人之本，孝以德之先。尊老、敬老作为中华民族几千年灿烂文化之精华源远流长。从小培养孩子尊老敬老是我们的责任和义务，也是全社会关注的大事，让我们携起手来，共同努力，让尊老敬老蔚然成风，让中华民族的这种优良传统代代相传。
Double Ninth Festival is Chinese traditional festival, it’s the bestchance to educate national culture and transfer the good qualities to our nextgeneration deep into their heart. It’s our duty and responsibility to educateour children we should respect the olds, at same time, it’s also a big thing regardedby society.
10月9日上午晶晶大华幼教中心各班开展了“九九重阳节”教育活动，同时，中大班老师还带着小朋友们拿着自己亲手制作的爱心祝福卡走进了社区，为爷爷奶奶送去了重阳节的祝福。
In the morning of 9th of October, Jingjing internationalkindergarten conducted a educational activity—Double Ninth Festival. Meanwhile,the teachers from middle and top classes leaded our children with their greetingcards made by themselves to communities, sending the cards to the grandpas andgrandmas for greetings.
通过这次活动使孩子们知道，不仅自己有“六一”儿童节，爷爷、奶奶也有他们自己的节日，懂得要关心尊敬老人，从而学着去关爱长辈，做个有孝心的孩子，这次活动展现了我们晶晶幼儿的风采，幼儿积极向上的精神风貌和良好的文化形象，赢得了社区居民的高度赞誉。
Through the activities, not only do the children know they have theirown Children’s Day, but also the olds have their Double Ninth Festival. Theylearnt how to treat the olds with respect and caring, being a good child to theolds. It shows our children’s good qualities and cultural visualization,gaining the high praise from the people in communities.
