什么是干细胞?抱歉,本文不是全民科普文,旨在干细胞相关领域科研工作者学习交流,需要从零开始科普的朋友,可以移步某某百科先搜索一下相关内容。


干细胞研究在医学研究中的意义重大,此结论早在十数年前便已充分证明,而且还将更加意义重大!它不仅能够推动医学领域的发展,还有潜力改变许多疾病的治疗方式,提高人类生活质量,并在再生医学领域发挥关键作用。


根据国家自然科学基金委公布的数据显示:

1997-2019年,国家自然科学基金委共资助干细胞项目8050个;

2019-2024年,其间受疫情影响,没有公布完整的干细胞受资助项目数量和规模,但有一点是可以肯定的,与干细胞相关的研究项目无论是数量还是规模都有显著增长,特别是在2024年,干细胞相关项目的中标数量达到了329项,资助方向包括但不限于帕金森病、糖尿病、癫痫、心脏病及癌症等多种重大疾病的治疗,以及干细胞药物的开发。这表明干细胞研究在国家自然科学基金中一直是一个重要的研究方向,并且近年来的研究热度持续上升。

2024年,国家多部委联合或分别通过了一系列法律、法规、政策和办法,无论是哪一级别的政策,都无一例外将与干细胞相关的方向列为重中之重,力推干细胞科研、临床转化和新药研发,业界更是大有“干细胞疗法——医学的未来已至”的呼声不绝于耳。

2025年1月3日,国务院发布《国务院办公厅关于全面深化药品医疗器械监管改革促进医药产业高质量发展的意见》,意见明确提出对临床急需的细胞和基因治疗药物实行优先审评审批,加快上市。这无疑又双叒叕是干细胞行业的一大利好。

据析,2025年,国自然将会继续在干细胞相关领域项目的资助上一路高歌猛进大有作为,看来,干细胞的春天真的要来了!

干细胞vs.疾病治疗

疾病的产生,是机体受内在因素(如遗传、免疫、代谢等)和外在因素(如感染、环境、生活方式等)共同作用导致的正常细胞功能发生障碍的结果;干细胞具有自我更新和多向分化能力,是机体一切成体细胞的来源,也是机体受损细胞修复的关键。自干细胞被发现之日起,疾病治疗便一直是干细胞研究的重要方向。时至今日,干细胞已为多种重大疾病和疑难杂症的预防和治疗提供了突破性的思路和方法。例如帕金森病等神经退行性疾病、糖尿病等代谢性疾病、GVHD(抗宿主病)等免疫性疾病、心脏病和血液病等循环系统疾病、癌症……

干细胞vs.再生医学

再生医学是干细胞应用的另一大阵地,干细胞的多向分化潜能决定了其可以在人工诱导的条件下定向地分化为医学上需要的细胞、组织甚至是器官,因此,在器官移植、组织损伤修复、器官再造等方向拥有无限前景。目前,干细胞已经在医学整形、抗衰老、骨损伤修复、神经损伤修复、眼科、口腔医学等领域取得了诸多技术突破并积累了大量的基础和临床试验经验。

干细胞vs.新药开发

干细胞作为一种前沿的医学工具,既可以作为评价传统中药、化学药和各类新型药物(如单抗、双抗、ADC、细胞疗法等生物制剂,小分子、多肽、核酸等化学制剂……)的毒理、药效评估手段,又可以自成体系成为一类更加安全、有效的治疗和预防疾病的新型药物。截至2024年10月底,中国已有148项干细胞新药获批临床试验,位居世界前列,干细胞新药走向临床指日可待!
