 如果你是池塘里的一只鸭子，由于暴雨的缘故水面上升，你开始在水的世界之中上浮。但此时你却以为上浮的是你自己，而不是池塘。

If you're a duck on a pond, and it's rising due to a downpour, you start going up in the world. But you think it's you, not the pond.

不要用属于你、并且你也需要的钱，去挣那些不属于你、你也不需要的钱。这太愚蠢了，用对你重要的东西去冒险赢得对你并不重要的东西，简直无可理喻，即使你成功和失败的比率是100比1，或1000比1。

But to make money they didn’t have and didn’t need, they risked what they did have and what they did need.  That is just plain foolish; it doesn’t matter what your IQ is.  If you risk something that is important to you for something that is unimportant to you it just doesn’t make sense.  I don’t care if the odds you succeed are 99 to 1 or 1000 to 1 that you succeed.
