Under the Paris Agreement, greenhouse gas emissions must meet a 43% reduction by 2030. This mandate is reshaping industrial priorities at every level, driving urgent demand for gas adsorption technologies in carbon capture, gas separation, and purification, while liquid adsorption for water treatment and heavy metal removal remains equally critical.
当前主流工业吸附材料虽已成熟,但性能已逼近天花板。下一代吸附材料必须在吸附效率、热稳定性、循环可靠性与分离选择性上实现全面突破,同时适配长期、可持续的工业化运行体系。仅靠渐进式优化已无法满足需求,真正的材料革新迫在眉睫。
Today’s industrial adsorbents are mature but hitting a ceiling. The next generation adsorbent materials must deliver on efficiency, thermal stability, reliable cycling performance and selectivity, all within systems built for sustainable, long-term operation. Incremental improvement will not close this gap. A material breakthrough is needed.

金属有机框架材料(MOFs)由金属节点与有机配体构筑而成,形成高度有序的三维多孔结构,具备超高比表面积、可精准调控的孔道化学环境、优异选择性与稳定性等核心优势。2025 年诺贝尔化学奖的授予,更是印证了这硬科技领域早已达成的共识。
Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), built from metal nodes and organic linkers into highly ordered 3D structures, offers exceptional selectivity, tunable pore chemistry, outstanding surface area, and strong stability. The 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry confirmed what the deep tech world had long recognised.
目前MOF材料的挑战集中在成本与规模化量产。主流产品市场价格约为10 万 到 20 万元/吨,高端定制化产品甚至超过100万元/吨。
The remaining challenge is cost and scalability, with market pricing ranging from ¥100,000 to 200,000/tonne at the accessible end, while high-end customized product can cost over ¥1,000,000/tonne.

全球已知 MOF 结构已超14 万种,传统基于密度泛函理论(DFT)的计算方法成本极高、难以大规模筛选。而人工智能技术彻底改变了这一局面,可快速预测材料吸附容量、评估热学与力学性能,并在指定温度、压力条件下完成高通量筛选。其中Uni‑MOF 模型为行业标杆, 基于 Transformer 架构的机器学习模型,专为 MOF 吸附性能预测而设计。
With over 140,000 known MOF combinations, traditional Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods are computationally prohibitive. AI changes this, enabling rapid prediction of adsorption capacity, estimation of thermal and mechanical properties, and screening across specified pressure and temperature conditions. The leading model is Uni-MOF, a Transformer-based ML model built specifically for MOF adsorption performance prediction.

MANN+HUMMEL, a global filtration technology leader headquartered in Germany, joined the CMVC LP ecosystem in 2025. They arrived with a critical industrial challenge: sourcing the next-generation adsorbent materials capable of meeting the performance, stability and scalability demands of their evolving product applications.
跨国企业往往拥有清晰且具体的应用需求,而初创企业手握突破性技术,却缺乏对接真实工业场景、进行产品验证的系统化渠道。CMVC 正是为了打通这一壁垒而生。本次 CMVC 吸附材料开放创新工作坊,是一场精准聚焦、精心策划的专题活动,整体围绕三大核心环节展开:一是前沿技术全景深度解析,二是初创企业面向曼胡默尔团队定向路演,三是跨国企业专题研讨,围绕技术适配性与合作落地路径展开深度交流。
MNCs often carry well-defined challenges while startups hold breakthrough technologies but often lack structured access to real industrial validation. CMVC bridges this gap. The CMVC Open Innovation Workshop Day on Adsorbent Materials was a focus, curated session structured around 3 pillars: a technology landscape deep-dive, direct startup presentations to Mann+Hummel’s team, and a MNC panel discussion exploring technical fit and collaboration pathways.

What the Day Delivered
本次工作坊全程围绕曼胡默尔的实际技术需求展开,各初创企业逐一展示了自身核心能力。活动最后以跨国企业专题研讨收官,与会嘉宾就技术可行性、产业化路径、以及跨国企业与初创企业间的潜在合作模式进行了深入探讨。
The workshop was structured around Mann+Hummel’s real technical requirements, with each startup presenting their core capabilities. The day closed with an MNC panel discussion that went deep into technical feasibility, scale-up pathways, and potential collaboration structure between MNCs and Startups.
本次活动实现了三重成果:初创企业技术能力与产业 LP 需求的精准匹配、技术与商业化路径的实质性验证,以及为后续合作与试点项目奠定了坚实基础。通过此次交流,曼胡默尔对全球吸附材料产业格局形成了远超传统调研方式的清晰认知,而参与的初创企业则直接打通了与这家全球顶尖过滤企业的对接通道。
The outcome was threefold: precise matching between startup capabilities and LP requirements, substantive validation of technical and commercial pathways, and the foundation for follow-on collaboration and pilot opportunities. Mann+Hummel left with a sharper view of the global adsorbent materials landscape than any conventional scouting process could deliver. The startups left with a direct line to one of the world's leading filtration companies.
