Communication Arts 年度插画大赛创立于1959年，是由《Communication Arts》杂志主办的插画比赛，至今已举办61届。本届比赛的评审团由罗德岛设计学院插画系主任Robert Brinkerhoff、企鹅兰登高级设计师Nora Grosse、《华尔街日报》艺术总监Marlene Szczesny、日本插画师木内达朗等10位设计师组成。
在今年的评选中，大赛征集了创作自2019年1月至2020年1月之间的插画作品共3863份，其中包括用于广告、书籍、刊物、营销、机构协会、影视动画、个人推广，以及未出版和学生创作的作品。
经评审团赏鉴，最终有125件优秀插画作品脱颖而出，获得CA卓越奖（CA Award of Excellence），并被收录于最新一期的《Communication Arts Illustration Annual 61》杂志中。若需线上订阅或购买杂志，可前往官网了解：
