Since Master Kong’s instant noodles were first introduced in 1992, the brand has been dedicated to product innovation for the past 30 years. Echoing the market insight that consumers are looking for instant noodles with authentic meat under the price of 12 yuan, Master Kong launched the high-end Royal Feast Noodles with a generous dose of meat to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

But, how could Master Kong convince people they have real meat in Royal Feast Noodles?

Introducing the instant noodle with real meat from someone who always speaks the truth!

Master Kong invited the entrepreneur and well-known anti-counterfeit celebrity, Luo Yonghao, nicknamed Lao Luo, to speak for its Royal Feast Noodles.

Inspired by the popular anime Attack on Titan, the commercial humorously features a giant starving Lao Luo who goes on a rampage hunt for real meat across the city.

A starving Lao Luo is about to become an attacking Titan and destroy the city. In a moment of great emergency, people are firing food like missiles to feed him, but Luo just got pissed off until he tried Master Kong’s Royal Feast Noodles, which truly have real meat in it!

Why is Luo getting annoyed again? He worked overtime yesterday but found no instant noodles fit for his hungry supper. The once-broke entrepreneur decided to start up a business for noodles and headed to a cattle ranch to find the raw ingredient: meat! And it turns out Master Kong’s Royal Feast Noodles are exactly what he’s looking for in his next endeavour!

The TV commercials garnered over 110 million views with over 20 million interactions, for a reach rate of 533%.

Searches for Master Kong across eCommerce platforms soared 25 times, with daily sales increasing by 500%.
