Caring Hearts Meet Clean Hands with Safeguard.
KFC and global hygiene leader P&G launched a nationwide initiative inspiring kids to build smart hygiene habits.
Across 3,000 stores, KFC reimagined family spaces as vibrant handwashing zones and rolled out 1 million co-branded chicken buckets. The rule? Clean hands first, then finger-lickin’ chicken.
Buckets serve double duty as hygiene tutors—featuring the clear “7-Step Handwash” guide on the outside and a hidden “7 Hand Care Moves” secret tucked within the sleeve, inviting exploration and good habits at mealtime.
To make handwashing unforgettable, KFC created a playful dance video starring Chicky and Safeguard’s Lil Shu, turning the seven steps into a rhythmic routine that kids and teens can’t resist learning and sharing.
IMPACT
By Children’s Day, more than 3,000 KFC community stores had rallied behind the health campaign, inspiring 1 million families build strong handwashing habits before mealtime.
Yet, this milestone is just the beginning. The mission continues as more KFC locations gear up to spread clean hands and care—one scrub at a time.
