About us

Founded on 7th December, 2017, with a registered capital of 4.051 billion yuan, Qianhai Inno-tech Investment Holdings (QIIH) is a state-owned enterprise wholly owned by Shenzhen Qianhai Administration Bureau. Our main businesses encompass operating space (space for innovation), providing services for sci-tech innovation, and investing on science & technology and creative industry. We aim to build a platform to boost entrepreneurship for sci-tech innovation and creative industry in Qianhai, and transform it into the engine of innovation of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.

Corporate Responsibilities

I. Sci-tech Innovation Planning

We are responsible for the formulation of the master plan, policy and industrial guidance for sci-tech innovation in Qianhai, encouraging the convergence of various sci-tech innovation elements. Our mission is to build a high-end sci-tech innovation service platform and a distinctive sci-tech ecosystem in Qianhai.

II. Construction and Operation of Sci-tech Industrial Zone

By running Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (E-hub), we are committed to creating an international youth innovation and entrepreneurship center. By the end of July 2018, E-hub has incubated 340 start-ups in total, among which 169 are Hong Kong, Taiwan and international companies. More than half of the entrepreneurial projects have received funding in E-hub, with a cumulative amount exceeding 1.5 billion yuan.

At present, we have E-hub II, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Youth Entrepreneurship Zone, and Qianhai Sci-tech Eco-Valley under construction, which could provide a space of over 1 million square meters to start-ups and laboratories to advance technology.

III. Investing on Sci-tech Innovation and Creative Industry

We provide financial support to sci-tech start-ups through funds of over 2 billion yuan focusing on different rounds and areas. Meanwhile we create values from PE (private equity), VC (venture capital), and angel investment.

IV. Smart City Construction

We provide data acquisition, analysis and visualization services to governments and enterprises. Being responsible for the construction of communication infrastructure in Qianhai allows us to provide reliable hardware services for future smart cities. We are also committed to the layout of smart transportation, intelligent security and other specific application scenarios for the zone, striving to make Qianhai a benchmark for the construction of smart cities across the country.

V. Services for Enterprises and Talents

For Qianhai enterprises and talents, our subsidiary provides business secretary services such as residence trusteeship, examination and approval and corresponding consultation; international talent introduction, talent recognition and acceptance, talent exchange; value-added services such as consultation on personnel, finance, tax and law, policy advisory, event planning and promotion, enterprise information resource release and connection.

VI. Public Services in Qianhai Zone

Our subsidiary is dedicated to services of safety management , property management, house renting services for talents, and transportation operation for electric cars in Qianhai zone. For instance, we set up a joint venture company with Savills, an expert of property management to provide services in an internationally high standard.
