NO.5 Bay Area Wisdom Valley Landscape Renovation

广州市天河区的东北角----龙洞街，既是典型的城乡结合地区，又是有名的教育文化区。在拥有“广州第一村”之称的龙洞村旁侧，本案场地掩藏于此，前身是建于上世纪末的龙洞第一工业区。随着传统制造业的没落，原工业区场地设施的老化和城市功能需求的不断升级，园区逐见老态，空间价值日渐退减。

Longdong Street, the northeast corner of Tianhe District, Guangzhou, is not only a typical urban-rural integration area but also a famous educational and cultural area. The site is hidden here, next to Longdong Village, which is known as the "First Village in Guangzhou". The predecessor of the site was the Longdong No.1 Industrial Area which was built at the end of the last century. With the decline of the traditional manufacturing industry, the aging of the original industrial park facilities, and the continuous upgrading of urban functional requirements, the park has gradually become old and the value of space is declining.

2018年底，业主将项目命名为“05湾区智谷”，希望承借大湾区的发展辐射力，对场地进行建筑、室内、景观、视觉导视等一体化改造提升，面向轻资产高新科技企业、新兴创客及周边的院校师生，打造一个复合、文艺、聚人的城中园区新目的地。

By the end of 2018, the client named the project "No. 5 Bay Area Wisdom Valley.", hoping to have an integrated renovation and upgrade of the site's architecture, interior, landscape, and visual identity with the radial influence of the Greater Bay Area. The goal is to create a complex, refined, and attractive new destination for asset-light high-tech enterprises, emerging makers, and surrounding college teachers and students,

2019年初夏起，整整一个四季里，作为景观改造设计方，ako参与并见证了场地的蜕变：

从一片凋零无用的城中老旧工业楼群，到充盈人气、活力，交织着商业潜质的复合园区。

Since the beginning of summer 2019, as landscape renovation designer, ako has participated in and witnessed the renovation process of the site: from a withered and abused old industrial area to a compound park full of popularity and vitality, intertwined with commercial potentials.

同时，消解了场地原有的三个痛点：

1.闹中取静

2.窄长空间的呼吸感

3.内向场域的亮化。

At the same time, the original three "pain points" of the site are resolved: 1. To seek serenity in the noises; 2.To retain breathing in long narrow spaces; 3. To activate the inward spaces.

从喧杂的龙洞街，穿过门户式构筑，即进入园区。沿着主园路旁的人行空间，我们在现状树的保留下新增了可坐功能，铺装上选用耐候与色差都相对理想的深中浅灰三色仿石PC砖，组成像素化的海浪图案，从而对人的通过与停留界面进行了暗示与划分，用克制、收敛的景观介入，将空间的主角留给未来伴随两侧商业铺面可能发生的各种活动，为整个场地创造了“闹中取静”的第一印象。

园区中部，原有的半埋地消防水池连接着东西两段又长又窄的通廊空间。我们用错落的台阶消化了水池结构顶部与周围地坪间的天然高差，往上筑墙，叠加绿植，置入场地聚焦IP雕塑，引导人们进入、通过。也因此，连续的窄长空间里，有了可喘息的顿点，自然也就聚集人气，互动、社交、流线在此相应发生。原本不可进入的场地成了全园的必经之点，更多场地的活力与美好也得以催生。

设计引入园区特色IP —— 智谷孖宝：大佬阿智 & 细佬阿谷，脑袋大大，朦胧发光。从草图、方案、深化、倒模、锻造到现场落位，ako全程负责跟进。

大佬阿智呆坐在集装箱基座上思考人生，细佬阿谷趴着凝视眼前的草花，两两相对，互看成景，在人来车往中，散发着激活空间的萌动亮光。

顺着流线往后场推进，楼与楼之间出现更多夹道通行空间，皆稍显内向与消极：统一采用彩色地坪漆、彩色沥青对其改造，商业步行空间铺满连续彩色圈圈，双侧停车+单向车行区域则跳跃点缀海浪色带，既服从了空间的原有通行功能，也让原本常规的界面增加了一定的视觉冲击与空间特点，通过有限但有效的景观投入，亮化本来消极内向的场域，创造完整一体的园区景观体验。

—— 还是一些心路叨叨 ——

Some BlaBlaBla

8月底，ako对场地进行了最近一次的完工回访与项目拍摄：从天光乍现的早5点，到华灯盛放的晚8点，看到园区长租公寓的白领住户早起匆匆出门上班，看到进驻企业的网络主播在园内拍摄外景，还看到园区外周边居民饭后的遛娃放电……这是场地的活力，也是场地的美好，都在05湾区智谷不期而遇。

At the end of August, ako revisited to the site for the most recent completion and project shooting: from 5 a.m. when the sky just lights up, to 8 p.m. when the lights in full bloom, we saw the white-collar residents of the long-term rental apartment in the park get up early to go to work; we saw the KOLs in the park filmed the outdoor scenes; we also saw the living-around residents take a walk with their young kids after meals... This is the vitality of the site, and it is also the beauty of the space. We can find them all in here, No.5 Bay Area Wisdom Valley, in unexpectation.
