During his career Albano Poli has cooperated with several architecture studio from all over the world, receiving many assignments and awards:
In 1968 he was awarded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Crafts for the works provided at the Decorative Art Division of the 34th International Art Biennale of Venice.
In 1970 he received the first prize for progress in the competition “Tradition, adaptation and progress of handicraft products”, organized by the Provincial Association of Artisans of Verona.
In 1970 he received a gold medal by the German Prime Minister as an acknowledgement for the stained glass windows that he created for the International Exhibition of Crafts in Munich.
In 2005 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs charged him, as the best glass making representative, to create the artistic stained glass windows of the Italian Pavilion at Aichi Expo.
In 2007 he organized a photographical exhibition on the restoration interventions that he carried out on the artistic stained glass windows of the southern rose window of the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua, inside the Basilica itself.
In 2008 he was charged by the Prefect James Michael Harvey and by the Regent Paolo de Nicolò to design and implement a ceiling in the private rooms of the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican.
