美国密西根大学(University of Michigan)石承志博士课题组主要从事物理声学,波动力学,结构声学,水下声学,声学超材料,超声成像,以及超声医学治疗等方向的研究。我们致力于实现超高分辨率超声细胞成像,新型超声医疗手段,高速水下声通讯,新型波动物理实验平台等高新技术。课题组将为学者们提供开放,创新,自主,平等,合作,高效,严谨的学术环境以实现声学科研领域的突破。

我们现招收博士和博士后若干,欢迎来自不同领域(包括生物医学工程,细胞生物学,物理学,应用物理学,声学,光学,机械工程,电子工程,化学等)的学者申请。有较强的自我驱动力,扎实的学术功底,以及丰富的科研和实验经历优先考虑。

PI简介
石承志博士是美国密西根大学机械工程系副教授,终身教授。此前,他是美国佐治亚理工学院助理教授。他先后在上海交通大学密西根学院和美国加州大学伯克利分校机械工程系获得学士,硕士,和博士学位。他的研究兴趣包括物理声学,水下声学,声学超材料,生物医学成像和超声治疗,且在这些领域发表高引期刊论文30余篇,其中包括多篇在Science, Nature Communications, PNAS, Physical Review X等高影响力期刊的论文,并获美国国家科学基金会早期职业生涯发展奖(NSF CAREER Award)和美国海军研究办公室青年科学家奖(ONR YIP Award)等荣誉。

The Meta Acoustic Lab at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Michigan has multiple openings for Postdoctoral Fellows, PhD students, and undergraduate research assistants. The Meta Acoustic Lab is directed by Dr. Chengzhi Shi, a tenured Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan starting on January 1st, 2024. Prior to his appointment at UM, he was an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Dr. Shi earned his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 and his MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute in 2013 and 2010. His research focuses on physical acoustics, wave propagation, structural acoustics, underwater acoustics, metamaterials, biomedical ultrasound imaging, and therapeutic ultrasound. Particularly, he is interested in understanding the wave physics of vortex acoustic waves and their applications for underwater communications and therapies for different diseases, developing new ultrasound imaging techniques for cellular imaging and medical diagnostics, and creating novel experimental platforms for the studies of condense matter and quantum physics. Dr. Shi has published many highly cited papers in high-impact journals including Science, Nature Communications,PNAS, etc. and has won prestigious awards such as the NSF CAREER Award and ONR YIP Award. Students with experiences in biomedical engineering, cell biology, optics, acoustics, imaging, and physics are encouraged to apply.
