Tuesday evening, 17 December 2019.
All conference participants are invited to a welcome reception at the conference hotel. The tickets are free and handed out on a first-come-first-served basis. Please make reservation in advance for the reception by 1 December.
Symposium Banquet
Thursday evening, 19 December 2019.
On Thursday evening, 19 December , symposium banquet is planned for PIERS participants and their guests. A limited number of banquet tickets will be available. For all participants, the price is USD 60 / CNY 420 per person. Please make reservation and pay in advance for the banquet by 1 December.

• PIERS Focus Sessions
Each focus session should be focused on a specific hot topic that must be timely and reflect the future trends or the latest scientific advances in the area.
• Young Scientist Programs
To encourage more young scientists and students to contribute to PIERS with presentations of good research results, the two young scientist programs are organized at PIERS 2019 in Rome.
• Best Student Paper Award (BSPA)
To encourage more students to present their good research results in PIERS, Best Student Papers will be awarded after their presentations in each PIERS.

• Young Scientist Award (YSA)
The Young Scientist Award (YSA) provides a more general young scientist program in comparison with the BSPA. To qualify applications for the YSA, the applicant must have PhD degree in science/engineering and under 40 years of age by the conference date.
