但如果你把它直译成“越快越好”，那无疑是中式英语的理解方法。
其实，“So far so good”真正的意思，是“到目前为止一切顺利；到目前还好”。
对于这个表达的理解，我们可以拆分为两部分：
首先是“so far”，它有“到目前为止、在特定而有限的范围（程度）内”的意思，英文释义为：
at this particular time.
在特定的时间（或范围）。
如：
What have you found so far?
迄今为止，你发现了什么？
It's been quiet so far.
到目前为止还是安静的。
So far, only two Democrats have entered the race for governor.
