设计概念是基于对每一个自然元素和业主生活方式的深入分析，构建一处与自然对话，直达生活本真的归隐之所。

空间，自然，人三者和谐相生，是唐忠汉对本案的设计立意，融合了太阳、树林、海滩以及与朋友共度的时间等元素。设计了一个面向日落的公共活动区域。情节的中心是人们所看向的地方以及他们一起度过时光的地方。对内部和外部空间的感知时常变化。公共空间应该是自由、多元的，客厅双主墙的考虑方便在起居和会客之间自由切换；半开放式厨房融入客餐厅体系，视线长度和功能流线都得以延长。原本空间视觉呈现趋向于扁平，将顶、墙、柜、桌体块化，互相作用，创造出多层次的空间视觉。

静谧，是静寂无声的模样，是一种心境，是对于自我的反思与内省；静是相对的，在完全没有声音的环境，是无法体会到安静，那是近乎空灵的东西，空间亦然。自然是当今生活的珍稀之物，透过木、石、金属、织物的组合，营造空间的静谧气质，消除建筑的工业气息，搭建一寸供人放松的旅居空间。自然不是凭空而起的器物，是环境的延续。

以窗为画，让自然点缀室内主题。横窗的设计如画框一般，将自然景色匡置于视觉中心，质朴纯粹的饰面材质延续展开；运用木、石故有的自然纹路，如低吟般含蓄表达着空间的诗意；深与浅的石材，切割空间，形成功能分区，明示生活的本需；将粗朴的自然之物置于室内空间，令精致、优渥的生活得以衬托，回叙心灵的平静，感受自我之价值。

天然之物是肌肤，线面构筑骨架。空间中的线面交错，限定着隐形的秩序美感；每一处缝隙看似呆板的铺序展开，却在穿插与组合间跳动着灵动；透过镂空的间隙、格栅的阵列手法，延展空间的想象力，强调节奏的变化，逐层逐景展现空间层次。

极深与极浅的色调，在精心的比例调和下，平衡、相互衬托。粗麻与编制工艺的织物搭配异域风情的饰品，将自由写意的心境带入室内，藤编的桌椅、图腾符号的花瓶，又将思绪扩展到广阔的室外。看到的不仅是设计，而是对于生活的深刻体会。内与外、深与浅、质朴与精巧，这一重重的对比，映衬出空间的静谧之境。
