上海迪士尼乐园自2011年4月8日正式开工，原定计划于2015年的7月份竣工，10月开园。由于建设过程中出现了许多复杂的问题。美方对于园区的设计和施工要求非常严格，很多材料和设备都需要从国外进口，而且建设过程中迪士尼的设计部门还在不断修改，导致很多图纸需要重新设计。很多工作需要返工。此外，由于中国建筑企业缺乏专业的施工队伍，工人的技术水平不高、流动性很大，很多施工工艺没有达到美方的要求而导致返工，综合这些原因导致进度拖期。
美国固瑞克公司于2015年6月25日联系上承担乐园内涂料施工的主承包商Cockram Construction的Senior Art Director, Nathanael Herman先生(简称Than),他介绍说他本人一直都是固瑞克喷涂设备的忠实用户,他曾经负责过的很多项目都在使用固瑞克的产品，包括：加利福尼亚的迪士尼乐园，永利酒店(WYNN RESORT),奥拉尼迪士尼度假村，香港迪士尼乐园，所以他这次在上海迪士尼乐园的项目也必须要使用固瑞克喷涂设备。
我是固瑞克的忠实用户，在过去的15年里几乎用过所有的固瑞克喷涂机。我只相信固瑞克品牌，不会购买其他品牌的设备。

Than告诉美国固瑞克公司由于前期工序的工程进度严重滞后，所以为了追赶项目进度，乐园管理方给他们涂料施工的时间就很短，这就需要尽快采购固瑞克喷涂设备以及培训大量有经验的喷涂工人。但是他现有工地上的人员都是做卡通人物的艺术工匠，能熟练无气喷涂的工人几乎没有。在2015年的7月，固瑞克建筑喷涂部中国团队在亚太区总监古风的率领下，拜访了Than和他的团队。现场就固瑞克设备做了系统介绍和培训，使工人对喷涂设备的使用和技巧有了认识。之后又根据Than对工期的进度而提出的设备需求进行了探讨并定下了采购型号。而且为了解决施工人员匮乏的问题，美国固瑞克公司帮Than联系并推荐了一些上海当地的涂料工人，经过了Cockram公司的培训和考评后，一部分合格的工人留下来加入到迪士 尼项目的涂料施工中。
通过Than的介绍，美国固瑞克公司又拜访了Cockram在乐园项目中的环保涂料供应商,美国GenesisCoatings的总裁 Nanette Schwartz,她和她的同事也高度赞扬了GRACO设备的优秀性能和可靠品质。
Than的团队通过严格的日常管理，以及规范的操作和保养流程，在最短的时间里通过固瑞克喷涂设备把乐园里许多场景里的美丽鲜艳的色彩完美的呈现出来，如乐园城堡、迪士尼大街等景区，他们出色的完成了涂料施工的项目。其中，在2016年3月份涂料工程将近收尾时曾经出了个小插曲：由于某个工人在拆解泵体时不慎丢失一个吸料阀座导致设备不能正常使用，并且未将实情及时汇报。在接到Than的消息后，美国固瑞克公司当天就安排代理商上门检查，并把检查结果反馈给Than, 为了让他们的工人能避免以后这样的问题的出现，固瑞克资深人员又及时赶到现场给Cockram的工人安排维修培训，使他们对泵体的工作原理和维护方法有了清晰的认识和掌握。Than非常满意固瑞克提供的服务。
多亏了固瑞克及时有效的售后服务，我们已经恢复作业。感谢Victor和他的同事们给我们的工人进行专业的维修。在下一个项目中，我依然会使用固瑞克的设备！

由于园区管理公司亲眼见到GRACO设备能有如此出色的性能和效率，就在涂料工程完毕后他们提出要求Cockram公司把喷涂设备的所有权转移给迪士尼，他们想要留下这些设备以便日后对园区进行日常的维护。
2016年6月16号，上海迪士尼乐园已经正式开园。美国固瑞克公司为因为给迪士尼提供了世界上最好的喷涂设备而自豪！加油, GRACO CED 中国团队！
Shanghai Disneyland concept was formally launched on April 8, 2011, scheduled for completion in July 2015, and then opened in October. However, due to the slower construction processes and some additional complex challenges; including Disney high requirements for the design,construction, advanced materials and equipment requirements (most need to be imported). The Disney architects had to make adjustments, localizing or modifying some original designs.
Delays in addition to the design and material specifications, Chinese construction team didn't have a lot of professional experience in construction, workers technical level does not conform to international standards, excessive turnover, many did not meet the requirements of construction technology standard building materials, forcing extra rework, and further affect the Disney opening delay. Disney release dates are behind schedule, Disney to graco spraying equipment and applications have been behind schedule.
Graco on June 25, 2015 to contact the coating Construction within the field park maincontractor Cockram Construction Senior Art Director, Nathanael Mr Herman(Than), he said he has always been a loyal customer of Graco spraying equipment in the USA and other projects around the world. Than had used Graco equipment for many projects; Disneyland,California, WYNN RESORT, Disney Aulani, Hong Kong Disneyland, so he thought in the Shanghai Disneyland project must use Graco products as well.
I have used these sprayers along with every single Graco airless paint sprayer to back in the states over the past 15 years. I am a loyal customer to Graco.
I really want to stay with the Graco line, and not want to have to purchase China knockoffs.

Than told Graco the challenges they faced, in order to catch up the project opening day schedule,Disney management allow additional coating bidding to complete the resort’s plan, Disney required construction teams to purchase Graco spraying equipment and training skilled workers as soon as possible. However, Disney’s current site painters were almost cartoon art craftsmen, none of them can use airless spraying…
In July 2015, Matthew Cooper, Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Director of Graco with his team visited Than and his site, introducing Graco lines, teaching the workers spraying skill. In a limited time to complete this project, Graco customized the purchasing list for Disney Land. What`s more; in order to solve the problem of lack of technically qualified construction personnel, Victor Guo help Than contact and recommend some local coating workers, after the Cockram company after training and assessment, part of the qualified workers to stay and join the Disney project coating construction.
Than advice, graco company visited Cockram paint suppliers in Disneyland project, coating of genesis, Nanette Schwartz, she and her colleagues also praised the graco equipment excellent performance and reliable quality.
Through strict daily management, according to Disney
Standard, in the shortest possible time, through the use of graco spraying equipment in many Disney famous exhibition, now the park has a beautiful bright color, perfect the spray quality and ready to open than expected a few months ago (for example: the famous scenic area, the Disney castle street Cockram team to complete the coating construction time and according to the requirements of the Disney high architect). Success is not without its challenges, among them, in March 2016, when a project is almost complete, the staff of paint has a problem, because when one of the workers remove the pump body he lost part of the normal use of equipment. Graco can solve the problem within 48 hours to start and run a team and equipment on time launch is back on track!
In order to avoid such an emergency in the future, Nico/Victor arrange a training session to make the Disney worker on operating guidelines and maintenance method of pump body. Than, Cockram and Disney are very satisfied with the Service of the Graco offers.
We are back to production, thanks to GRACO's awesome Customer Service. Thank you Victor for working with my team, and giving them a refresher course in the proper maintenance of the Spray RIGS. I want to be using these machines on the next projects to come.

Because park management company saw Graco equipment can have such a good performance and efficiency of the coating project after the completion of their request Cockram transfers the ownership of the company of the spraying equipment to Disney, they want to leave for routine maintenance of the equipment to the park tomorrow.
